Home All star MCC prepare for T20
Rahul Dravid will appear for the first time since announcing his retirement, playing alongside Sourav Ganguly and Shaun Tait for MCC in the Emirates Airline Twenty20 in Dubai on March 23.
Dravid, who has decided to call it quits following this year's IPL, will make his last appearance outside of India as MCC take on Sussex, Lancashire, Durham and a Fly Emirates Airline XI at 7he Sevens Stadium.
MCC are captained by Mark Ramprakash for their tour of the UAE, which also features the four-day Champion County fixture against Lancashire, starting at the Sheikh Zayed stadium, Abu Dhabi, on March 27.
MCC's side also features England international Gareth Batty and Pakistan fast bowler - and T20 specialist - Rana Naved.
They face stern opposition though, with three of the strongest English counties (all of who have lifted the County Championship in the past ten years) and previous competition winners, Fly Emirates Airline XI - who feature a number of talented local players.
MCC will play either Lancashire or the Fly Emirates XI in the second semi final, with the winners taking on either Durham or Sussex in the final.
