As it Happened

Honours Even, or Aussies even?

Well that's the end of play here and what a day's Test cricket we've had. Sun, a century, spin and more sun. England will be pleased to have got some runs on the board with Bell, but having lost the toss Australia will be delighted with the score at 289/7.

Last over of the day

The new ball has been taken by Australia and James Pattinson comes on from the Nursery End.

Harris bumper in the ribs

Anderson takes a short one in the ribs from Harris.

To boo or not to boo?

Late charge for Honours Board

Matt Prior has a big flash outside off stump and edges through to Haddin. That's another wicket for Smith and he now has three! Great captaincy from Clarke to keep Smith on and not take the new ball.
