As it Happened

England take 2-0 lead

Despite some rear guard resistance from Ryan Harris and James Pattinson, England have played Australia off the park here at the Home of Cricket and go 2-0 up in the Investec Ashes Series. A glorious summer evening as the presentations take place on the outfield. If you were unable to be here, why not come down this Thursday for some Friends Life T20. . . a rather famous ex-Australian captain will be playing one of his last games in the UK. Ricky Ponting stars for Surrey as they take on Middlesex. Get your tickets now.

Swanny does it

And with three balls to go, Swann picks up the final wicket and wraps up the victory. Wow!

Broad can't do it

So. . . it's come to this. One over remains and Swann will bowl it. Can he claim the winning wicket or are we all coming back tomorrow?

Fifth day?

England have eighteen balls in which to prevent this game going into a 5th day. Can they do it?

Extra half hour taken

Will that give James Pattinson enough time to get his half century?! Looking comfortable on 33 at the moment. England need one wicket to go 2-0 up.
