Cricket Academy Restaurant

Cricket Academy Restaurant

Situated alongside the Nursery Ground where you will be able to see the cricketers warming-up for the day's match, whilst enjoying breakfast and lunch in an informal dining area.

The Cricket Academy Restaurant is open to MCC Members and other spectators for breakfast and lunch on major match days.

Offering a Full English Breakfast and Continental items, served from gate-opening time until 10:45am, with the option of booking in advance. 

For the ODI we will be offering a three-course curry based lunch (this will consist of a main, dessert and cheese course).

The deadline for advanced restaurant reservations for the ODI is Thursday 27 August at midday.  Any remaining availability will be on a walk-in basis on the day, subject to availability.
Match Day Picnic Hampers are still available to order online at The deadline for these is Thursday 3 September at 10am.

General Information


Gates will open at 8.45am. For MCC Members the gates will open a quarter of an hour earlier at 8.30am.

Start of play: The match will begin at 10:30am.

Lunch interval will be between 2:00-2:45pm.

Scheduled close:

The scheduled close of play is at 6.15pm.

Prospects of play:

MCC has a dedicated Prospects of Play phone line which you can call before travelling to the Ground.

Collecting tickets:

The Ticket Collection Point is located on St John's Wood road, adjacent to the East Gate.

Admission with alcohol:

Each spectator is permitted to bring 2 pints of beer or 75cl of wine into the Ground on entry. Amounts of alcohol in excess of this will be confiscated.

St John’s Wood is the closest tube station (approximately 5 minutes walk), and Warwick Avenue, Marylebone, Edgware Road and Baker Street are all within 15 minutes’ walk.

A good service is due on London Underground lines, though it is worth checking on the TfL website before you travel.



For those wanting to take home of souvenir from their day at Lord's, branches of the Lord's Shop can be found by the East Gate, adjacent to the Nursery Ground and next to the Grace Gate.
