Cricket Academy Restaurant

Cricket Academy Restaurant

Situated alongside the Nursery Ground where you will be able to see the cricketers warming-up for the day's match, whilst enjoying breakfast and lunch in an informal dining area.

The Cricket Academy Restaurant is open to MCC Members and other spectators for breakfast and lunch on major match days.

Offering a Full English Breakfast and Continental items, served from gate-opening time until 10.45am, with the option of booking in advance.   

On Days 1-3 of the Test Match and for the ODI we will be offering a three-course curry based lunch (this will consist of a main, dessert and cheese course).

For Day 4 of the Test Match we will be offering a two-course carvery lunch.

The Deadline for advanced restaurant reservations for the England v Australia Investec Test Match is Wednesday 8 July at Midday.

Any reservations after this time will be on a walk-in basis on the day, subject to availability.

Lunch interval will be at 1:00-1:40pm, Tea will be at 3:40-4:00pm.

Scheduled close:

6:00pm or after 90 overs have been bowled (whichever is the later) - play shall not continue beyond 6:30pm

MCC has a dedicated Prospects of Play phone line which you can before travelling to the Ground.

Admission with alcohol:

Each spectator is permitted to bring 2 pints of beer or 75cl of wine into the Ground on entry. Amounts of alcohol in excess of this will be confiscated.

St John’s Wood is the closest tube station (approximately 5 minutes walk), and Warwick Avenue, Marylebone, Edgware Road and Baker Street are all within 15 minutes’ walk.

A good service is due on London Underground lines, though it is worth checking on the TfL website before you travel.



For those wanting to take home of souvenir from their day at Lord's, branches of the Lord's Shop can be found by the East Gate, adjacent to the Nursery Ground and next to the Grace Gate.
