County Match Day Packages FAQs

What is the dress code?

The dress code for County Match Day Packages is smart/casual.

Smart jeans are acceptable but ripped jeans, flip flops or trainers are not.

When will I receive my tickets?

Tickets will be dispatched two weeks prior to the match-day you are attending

What time is the Tour of Lord's?

Tour times vary depending on the match. Generally for all Royal London One-Day Cup matches, tours are at 11.30am and for LV= County Cricket matches, tours are at 9.30am. These are all subject to change and depend on the match timings.

Where do we meet?

Please come to the Grace Gates and inform the stewards of your arrival. A member of the Lord’s Team will meet you.

Are children/babies allowed in the restaurant?

Yes – although we do not offer a children’s menu.

Please let us know if you require a highchair in advance so we can accommodate this.

We also ask that you are mindful of other diners.

Do you cater for special dietary requirements?

We try to accommodate all dietary requirements, please inform us at the time of booking.

Do you have lift access?

There is no lift access to the Warner Stand or Warner Restaurant – there are two flights of stairs up to the restaurant.

Is there wheelchair access?

We have wheelchair access around the ground and within some of the stands.

However there is no wheelchair access to the Warner Restaurant or the MCC Museum - please call the Hospitality Sales Team on 020 7616 8598 or email for further assistance with this.

What happens if it rains?

The Lord's Tour, Warner Restaurant Lunch and (where applicable) Afternoon Tea will be provided - whatever the weather - but there is no refund available.

What happens if the match finishes early?

In the event of an early match conclusion, resulting in no play whatsoever on your chosen date - you will be able to book in for an alternative date.

What is the format of the day?

Your day starts with the Lords Tour, which will last approximately 1.5 hours, concluding in the Lord’s Shop.

You will be allocated a time for lunch in the restaurant after which you are free to watch the cricket.

What time is lunch?

Your time for lunch will be indicated on your letter sent with your match ticket two weeks prior to the day. Lunch is generally served between 12pm and 2:30pm.

Which matches can I come to?

The CMDH is valid against all Middlesex LV= County Cricket matches and Royal London One-Day Cup matches, excluding the Royal London One-Day Cup Final. Please note it is not valid for any International or NatWest T20 Blast matches.

Can I buy the package for someone else?

Yes – these are often purchased as gifts for other people to redeem.

Which stand will the seats be in?

All county games have unreserved seating, so you will be able to sit wherever you like in whichever stand is open on that particular day.

Does the tour gain access to the Pavilion?

We make every effort to allow entry into the Pavilion on a match day, although this is never guaranteed. Match-day tours information will be available on this website before the game.

Can I take photographs?

You are able to take photographs around the ground; however you are not permitted to take photographs in the MCC Museum or the Pavilion.

Can I park at the ground?

If you are disabled, or travelling with someone who is, then do contact the MCC Club Facilities Department on 020 7616 8653 or at They will be able to arrange drop off and pick up points ahead of your visit.

Do you offer concessionary rates?

There are no concessionary rates available.
