County Match Day Packages FAQs

What is the dress code?

The dress code for County Match Day Packages is smart/casual. Smart jeans are acceptable but ripped jeans, flip flops or trainers are not.

When will I receive my tickets?

Tickets will be sent two weeks prior to the match.

What time is the Tour of Lord's?

Tour times do vary depending on the match. Generally for all Royal London 50 Over County Cup matches, tours are at 8.45am and for LV= County Championship matches tours are at 9.00am. These are all subject to change and depend on the match timings.

Where do we meet?

Please come to the Grace Gates where a member of the Lord’s Team will meet you.

Are children/babies allowed in the restaurant?

Yes – although we do not offer a children’s menu.

Please let us know if you require a highchair in advance so we can accommodate this.

We also ask that you are mindful of other guests.

Do you cater for special dietary requirements?

We try to accommodate all dietary requirements, please inform us at the time of booking.

Do you have lift access?

There is no lift access to the Tavern Stand - there are two flights of stairs up to box level.

Is there wheelchair access?

We have wheelchair access around the Ground and within some of the stands however there is no wheelchair access to the MCC Museum or Tavern Stand.

What happens if it rains?

If there is no play at all on the day due to rain, sadly there is no refund as all elements of the package will go ahead.

What happens if the match finishes early?

In the event of an early match conclusion (i.e. it concluding the day before), resulting in no play whatsoever on your chosen date - you will be able to book in for an alternative date.

What is the format of the day?

Your day starts with tea and coffee on arrival before the Lord’s Tour, which will last approximately 1.5 hours, concluding in the Lord’s Shop. You will then be able to watch the cricket and enjoy your lunch from the comfort of the hospitality box. This will be a shared facility with other guests.

What time is lunch?

Your time for lunch will be indicated on your letter sent with your match ticket two weeks prior to the match. Lunch is generally served between 12pm and 2.30pm, depending on the match timings.

Which matches can I come to?

The packages are valid against all Middlesex LV= County Championship matches and Royal London 50 Over County Cup matches, excluding the Royal London 50 Over County Cup Final. Please note it is not valid for International or T20 matches.

Can I buy the package for someone else?

Yes – these are often purchased as gifts for other people.

Does the Tour gain access to the Pavilion?

We make every effort to allow entry into the Pavilion on a match day, although this is never guaranteed due to teams needing access to the changing rooms.

Can I take photographs?

You are able to take photographs around the Ground; however you are not permitted to take photographs in the MCC Museum or the Pavilion.

Can I park at the Ground?

If you are disabled, or travelling with someone who is, then do contact the MCC Club Facilities Department on 020 7616 8653 or at clubfacilities@mcc.org.uk. They will be able to sort out drop off and pick up arrangements for you.

Do you offer concessionary rates?

There are no concessionary rates available.
