On the evening of Wednesday 5th February, the President Mike Gatting will launch the Bicentenary celebrations in the intimate surroundings of the Long Room and M.C.C. Museum.
Tickets are available to MCC Members for £25 per person including drinks and canapés. A maximum of two tickets per Member may be purchased. The event will run from 6pm-8pm
In the Museum, Members and guests will get the opportunity to view, for the first time, an interactive 3D digital model charting the evolution of the Ground from the semi-rural landscape on the outskirts of an expanding London bought by Thomas Lord. Outside, a “200” sculpture formed of images submitted of and by Members, players, spectators and staff will be unveiled, and inside the Pavilion guests can help choose the Bicentenary Ale.
Further to activities on the night, those attending will have the chance to buy tickets for matches and special Bicentenary merchandise, and register their interest for events taking place later in the year.
Please login to the Members’ Online Shop (using your membership number, last name and date of birth) to purchase tickets for the Bicentenary Launch event. Once logged in please search for the tickets under the Bicentenary Collection Tab and you will find the tickets available to purchase under the sub heading Events.
You may also book tickets by calling the Special Events Department on 020 7616 8529.
