Lord's in winter...

Date released: 23 November 2009

The last cricket match at Lord's was in October. The next isn't until April 2010 - so what happens at Lord's during the close season?

Mick Hunt
The ground up - Head Groundsman Mick Hunt
We'll be investigating the answer to that question throughout the winter months and into next year.

From the Ground Staff up to the Chief Executive (and everyone in between) we'll get exclusive interviews with them for Lords.org.

We'll start from the ground up - literally - with Head Groundsman Mick Hunt and Assistant Secretary and Head of Cricket, John Stephenson.

Keith Bradshaw, MCC Secretary & Chief Executive
Top of the shop: MCC Chief Executive Keith Bradshaw
From floodlights and pink balls to conferences and dinners via Abu Dhabi and printing tickets we'll cover it all.

Summertime may be a hive of cricketing activity at the Home of Cricket but lots of work during the colder winter months takes place to make it all happen.

You'll never look at Lord's in the winter in the same way.
