Lord's record-holder added to MCC team

Record-holder Claire Taylor will be part of a strong MCC Women's Invitation XI side to face New Zealand at Taunton on Wednesday 8th August.

Batting for England, Taylor scored a staggering 156 not out against India at Lord's almost exactly a year ago.

It was the third highest score ever in a women's one-day international and is still the highest one-day international score at 'The Home of Cricket', surpassing even the great Sir Viv Richards.

Taylor will be part of a strong MCC squad to face the touring New Zealand team.

The 50-over match is being hosted by Taunton St. Andrews Cricket Club in Somerset.
