Experts at MCC have already run the rule over the key players in the match read their verdicts.

The clash at The Oval may prove to be an expensive one for Collingwood. He has been banned for four ODIs after England failed to bowl their overs in the required time.

The punishment is more severe as England (and Collingwood) were penalised for the same offence within the last 12 months - the last time being at Bristol against India in August 2007.
