UCCE tourists in tight matches
Date released: 26 March 2008
The MCC University Centres of Cricket Excellence (UCCE) combined team are playing their part in some thrilling, tight matches on their South Africa tour.
Five matches in to their trip the UCCE team have won two and lost three in some extremely close matches.
After a narrow defeat to their South Africa counterparts on Easter Saturday the second one-day match between the sides came down to the final over - a nerve-jangling catch with three balls to spare clinched the match.
You can find out which way that match went and follow the team's progress on tour thanks to Tour Manager Garri Jones' blogs and reports (see left).
