• Respecting the opposition is key, but at the same time you can still fight hard and compete without belittling your opponents. The opposition are doing the same
• Accept the fact the opposition are trying to beat you, and if they do beat you they should be respected. Learn from how they have played
• In all of the toughest sporting battles, this is the worst time to lose, but it is essential that the losers respect the winners and vice versa. Everyone has been in both positions and knows how it feels, so it must be respected
• It is important to leave the game with a handshake and enjoy the company after the game
• Whilst competing hard, there are still friendships and equality between the winners and losers at the end
• You cannot have a winner without a loser and if you start to look down on the loser, soon it will not be worth winning
