Afternoon Tea vouchers
Traditional Afternoon Tea in the Long Room at Lord’s has become hugely popular since its debut on Mothers Day 2011.
With a number of further dates now set for 2012, Lord’s have introduced Afternoon Tea vouchers - a perfect gift for friends or family.
Available to purchase online for two people, treat someone special to either a conventional Afternoon Tea (£76), or for extra indulgence, add a glass of Champagne (£94).
A guided Tour of the Home of Cricket is also included.
Situated in the stunning Victorian Pavilion, the Long Room offers commanding views out over the Ground, adding to the unique nature of the Afternoon Tea experience.
The tea itself highlights the best of a traditional English cricket tea, with hand-baked scones, homemade jam and Cornish clotted cream and finger sandwiches, cakes and dainties from Lord’s resident pâtissier Thierry Besselievre.
Adding to the atmosphere will be a string quartet.
The new vouchers are valid for Afternoon Tea† dates in 2012, making them an ideal gift.
Vouchers will be dispatched to any delivery specified on your order, and recipients need only to contact Lord’s and specify a date on which to redeem their vouchers.
