Joe Packer

Joe was born and lives in North-East Hampshire. As a youngster he chose to support Hampshire over local rivals Surrey; an accident of birth and family alliance rather than a conscious decision. He played cricket throughout his youth with his village, school and university. Although yet to scale the cricketing heights, his passion for the game shines through. Graduating in 2006 with a Drama degree from the University of Surrey, he is well placed to convey the theatrics ‘out in the middle’. The opportunity to commentate from Lord’s is one that he enjoys immensely. At twenty-one years old he is the baby of the MCC Ball by Ball Team. Joe brings a sense of youth and exuberance to the team and is looking forward to the trials and tribulations of the 2007 season.
