A. Shrewsbury 106 v AustraliaBack to boards

Arthur Shrewbsury's second appearance on the Honours Boards came in 1893, when he hit 106 for England in their draw versus Australia.

Opening the batting for the hosts, Shrewsbury's second century at Lord's, which was only the third Test century hit at the Home of Cricket, saw him spend 250 minutes at the crease.

His innings also saw him earn nine fours to help guide England to a total of 334.

However, rain would deny an opportunity for a result in the match with it being classed a draw after three days at Lord's.
