Dawid Malan reached the Lord’s Honours Boards by scoring a sublime hundred against New Zealand in the fourth match in the Metro Bank ODI series in 2023.
Malan not a stranger to Lord’s, thanks to his long stint with Middlesex, was very quick to get used to the wicket before he got going. Opening the batting for England and scoring three consecutive fifties in the series, he managed to get his well-deserved hundred in the final ODI.
Building up to the Men's Cricket World Cup in October 2023, this was be quoted as a very important knock for England and Malan personally. He scored 127 with 14 fours and three sixes to his tally.
