MCC is working with a range of companies, from architects to historic building and light consultants in order to ensure the Masterplan is executed in the best way possible.
The Warner Stand project team includes organisations with an unsurpassed and intimate knowledge of Lord’s, having worked with MCC. over many years.
The architects, Populous, worked with MCC on the Masterplan of the Ground in 2013 and are world leaders in sports stadia design. Populous designed such iconic sports venues as the London 2012 Olympic Stadium and Emirates Stadium, and were responsible for the addition of the roof to Wimbledon Centre Court.
Those who have visited the Members’ areas at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in the last decade will have seen their work at first hand.
Gardiner & Theobald are the project managers, quantity surveyors and health and safety co-ordinators, and have been involved with the Grand Stand, Pavilion refurbishment, floodlights and Media Centre at Lord’s.
Engineers Arup have worked at the Ground since the Mound Stand was built in 1987.
