Name: Catherine Penhaligon

Birthplace/hometown in SA: Phalaborwa - in the Northern Province close to the Kruger National Park.

Role within MCC: On the IT Helpdesk, it is Catherine’s job to ensure all the PCs and telephones around the Ground are fully operational. She is also an active member of the Green Group trying to make Lord’s a greener place to come and visit or watch cricket.

Things missed most about SA: Braais and Biltong definitely! Mostly I miss the open spaces and the wildlife – we used to get hippos and elephants in our back yard!
