There’s more to Lord’s than Cricket. This year we have had a range of amazing performers entertain guests during all major match days.

Below are the details of this year’s performers:

Fliss’s Fame Academy (Dance troupe)

Biog: Fliss's Fame Academy is an after school performing arts project that is held at the Stowe Youth Club. There are street dance, singing, drama and art and design classes for all children ages 5-14 years old.

This project has run for three years and has helped over 200 children work towards their dreams. The main aim of this academy is to help children learn new skills, find their talents, and most of all build up their confidence and self-esteem through performing arts.

Karan’s Bollywood Master class (Dance troupe)

Biog: Talented and energetic dance students from Karan’s Bollywood Masterclass provide a range of fusion performances, collaborating Bollywood with Hip-Hop and Kathak with Bhangra.

England v Sri Lanka ODI 2014 SW Liberty Grant Liberty Grant (Solo singer)

Biog: Liberty is an aspiring singer with a growing fan base. She has performed live at many events including Kempton Parks Fireworks (5,000 Crowd) and the sanctum hotel acoustic evening. She has reached Various National singing Competitions with her recent being OpenMicUK where she performed at the NEC Birmingham.

Milan Ackerman (Guitarist)

Biog: Milan is a solo instrumentalist, and his choice of instrument is the acoustic guitar. He has been playing for 10 years and composing for three years. The music he composes is all thematic; the title of the song reflects the story that is told through the music.

Oliver Addams (Magician)

Biog: Oliver is a 16 year old magician/mentalist. He loves performing in front of crowds and hopes that one day he can earn a living out of it. His mentalism relies a lot on audience participation and so performing to a big audience is best.

We has won a local talent show with his illusions and came in the top three when he recently entered an online magic contest against professional magicians.

magicianRomil Depala aka. Magic Romil (Magician)

Biog: Romil is a 16 year old magician (part of the magic circle youth initiative) who loves cricket and magic, as well as performing for all audiences.

St Michael & All Angels Steel Orchestra (Steel pan band)

Biog: St Michael & All Angels Steel Orchestra is part of St Michael's Youth Project. Their mission is to raise self-esteem and self-worth of children and young people.

They provide educational, musical, recreational, personal development and leadership activities for children and young people aged eight to 25 years, in order to improve their life chances and better prepare them to recognise and take advantage opportunities.

The Nucleo Project (Youth Orchestra)

Biog: The Nucleo Project is a youth orchestra that has been running for one year, offering free instruction to children in North Kensington. The programme now involves over 80 children aged two to 15 years.

Westminster Academy Steel Band

Biog: Westminster Academy Steel Band is a new group, whose repertoire includes traditional music mixed with contemporary pop.
