MCC will be hoping to unearth the next generation of cricketing talent in Cambridge through a series of Summer Courses for primary and secondary school children.
Fenner’s Cricket Ground at Cambridge University is used to playing host to first-class cricketers and some of the finest student talent in the country in the form of the cricketers at Cambridge MCCU.
The courses are for boys and girls and aimed at teaching all the latest skills and games coupled with encouraging the children to understand the importance of nutrition, fitness and enjoyment in sport.
Each participant will receive an MCC goodie bag.
The first set five-day courses begins on Monday 19 July: Years 3, 4 and 5 start at 9am and finish at noon; and Years 6, 7, 8 and 9 start at noon and finish at 3pm.
The second set begins on Tuesday 26 July: Years 3, 4 and 5 start at 9am and finish at noon; and Years 6, 7, 8 and 9 start at noon and finish at 3pm.
All the courses are £150.
