Remaining tickets for England’s 2011 fixtures against Test World Champions India and Kumar Sangakkara’s Sri Lanka are now available on general sale.
After analysis of the ticket ballot, MCC is pleased to announce a limited number of tickets are available for both npower Test matches to be played at the Home of Cricket next summer.
Tickets for both NatWest ODI internationals scheduled for Sunday 3 July and Sunday 11 September are both currently sold out.
A limited number of hospitality packages are also available for all four major international fixtures.
England’s Ashes winners take on current ICC World Test Champions India in what promises to be a thrilling series - with Lord’s hosting the opening Test.
Tickets - priced from £5 for under 16s - are currently available for day’s one and four of the Test, which gets underway on Thursday July 21.
India boast one of the most prolific and entertaining batting line ups in Test match history, with the likes of VVS Laxman, Virender Sehwag and the jewel in the crown, Sachin Tendulkar, all bidding to make the Lord’s Honours Board.
Sri Lanka Test
England’s bowlers will be well tested from a three Test series against a thrilling Sri Lanka outfit by the time India reach these shores.
The second Test takes place at Lord’s starting on Friday 3 June with tickets for day’s two, three and four currently on sale.
Andrew Strauss’ men are sure to receive a magnificent reception after their historic Ashes win and will be keen to continue their rise up the ICC World Rankings on home soil.
However, Sri Lanka, who count brilliant captain Kumar Sangakkara and double Lord’s centurion Mahela Jayawardene in their ranks, provide a potential stumbling block for the hosts.
