Ian Smith described Lord’s as mind blowing after beginning proceedings at the Home of Cricket on 19 May by ringing the Pavilion bell.
“It’s mind blowing to come here, to play here and to be a member here,” the former New Zealand wicket-keeper told Lord’s TV.

Smith played 61 Test matches for the Black Caps - three of which were at Lord's - and 98 One-dayers.
Now a commentator on Sky Cricket, Smith added: “Even though we live 20,000 miles away it’s hallowed turf for us, a realisation of something special.”
