MCC are welcoming applications for volunteers to assist at high profile matches throughout the 2014 season.

The volunteers will help support match day operations at Lord’s for matches this summer.

Volunteers will work either as part of the venue team, media team, or activation team, at Test matches, One Day Internationals or the NatWest T20 Blast double header.

Part of MCC’s community engagement programme, MCC are looking for applicants to be approachable, committed, flexible and team focused. Volunteers will receive an induction, as well as general and specific training to support their continued professional development.

Applicants must be available to attend a training session on either Sunday 27 April or Friday 2 May, and be available for a minimum of five of the dates below.

  • The NatWest T20 Blast "double-header" on Saturday 17 May (Training Day)
  • the England v Sri Lanka Royal London One-Day International on Saturday 31 May
  • minimum of three days within the same Test Match of either the England v Sri Lanka Investec Test Match (Thursday 12 to Monday 16 June) OR the England v India Investec Test Match (Thursday 17 to Monday 21 July)
