The Nursery Pavilion at Lord’s has been given a new look in the lead up to the 2014 cricket season with the installation of a new canopy this week.
The old canopy had been in place since the Pavilion’s construction in 1999. Its replacement is the first new feature to be added to the structure since then.
The Nursery Pavilion is used for matchday hospitality and sporting events, and overlooks the Nursery Ground which school, club, county and international players use to warm up before a day’s play.
There are also over 60 matches played on the Nursery Ground throughout the year.
The canopy was put up by Base Structures.
