With Sachin Tendulkar and Shane Warne leading the MCC and Rest of the World teams as Lord’s celebrates it’s 200th birthday on Saturday 5 July, Lords.org are giving fans the chance to win signed prizes from either captains by showing their support on one side.
Ahead of the game, fans from across the world are pledging their allegiance to either #teamsachin or #teamshane on social media, and we are giving our Facebook and Twitter followers the chance to win caps signed by either Warne or Tendulkar.
To take part in the competition, entrants need to download and print either the #teamsachin or #teamshane PDFs - or create their own sign - and post a picture holding them to the Lord’s Facebook or Twitter accounts, using the line, "I’m supporting #teamsachin / #teamshane in the #MCCvRoW #Lords200 match @homeofcricket".
The most innovative image, or one taken in the most exciting location, will win the prize.
Closing date for the competition is Sunday 6 July, and the competition is open worldwide.
The match at Lord’s promises to be a historic occasion, with some of cricket’s all time greats taking to the turf in front of a capacity crowd.
All-time international run scorer Tendulkar will lead an MCC side including India team-mate Rahul Dravid, as well as Brian Lara, Saeed Ajmal and Brett Lee.
Australia leg-spinner Warne will be reunited with Adam Gilchrist in the Rest of the World team, who also boast Muttiah Muralitharan, Kevin Pietersen and Shahid Afridi amongst their stars.
To help you decide who to support, an army of famous fans have also had their pictures taken with the #teamsachin and #teamshane signs ahead of the match.
