What is better than Shane Warne? Well clearly, two Shane Warnes! Which was exactly what there was on the Home of Cricket outfield during day two of the Test.
Taking a break from his Sky punditry, the Aussie legend posed with a life-sized cut out of himself to promote #teamshane ahead of the MCC v Rest of the World game on July 5, where Warne captain's RoW against an MCC team led by Sachin Tendulkar. Or for the twittersphere, #teamsachin!
Cribbins on comms
TV personality Bernard Cribbins is no doubt a national treasure, as is the commentary of BBC Test Match Special team. So when Cribbins did a spot of impromtu cricket comms with Lords.org from his vantage point in the Grand Stand, the result was delightful.
The 85-year-old covered Joe Root's double ton, shooting the breeze with Fred Trueman, the lack of pigeons on the outfield and how immaculate the Lord's outfield looks in a short five minute stint.
