Four days of solid rain have seen Middlesex and Sussex share the points in the LV= County Championship match at Merchant Taylor's School.
Title chasing Middlesex, who entered this round of matches at the head of the table, have been by frustrated by the weather, with not one ball bowled over the four days of the match due to inclement conditions.
Despite the hard work of the groundstaff the teams were unable to take to the field, with both sides picking up five points.
