Barry Rowlandson updating England's batting 'honours board'
Anderson and Butcher onto Honours Boards
Date released: 9 June 2003
The achievements of James Anderson and Mark Butcher have been added to the famous 'honours boards' in the England dressing room at Lord's.
The boards provide a lasting reminder of the most successful batting and bowling performances at 'the home of cricket'.
James Anderson's name was added to the board listing the England bowlers - including Ian Botham, Fred Trueman and Derek Underwood - who have taken five Test wickets in an innings at Lord's.
At the same time, Mark Butcher's name was added, for the second time in two seasons, to the list of England's Test centurions - including Les Ames, Colin Cowdrey and Geoff Boycott - at cricket's historic 'headquarters'.
The changes were made by MCC's signwriter, Barry Rowlandson (see right) , following last month's npower Test match at Lord's, in which Butcher scored 137 and Anderson took 5-73 against Zimbabwe.
