West Indies win by 7 wickets
8:35pm 19th over: Just eight runs needed and two overs to get them - this match is the West Indies' to lose now. Zaheer Khan to bowl the penultimate over.
What a way to win the match! Bravo wastes no time - rocks back and completely wallops that one - way over mid-off... over long-off and over the rope! Six! If Bravo's not man-of-the-match I'll be completely staggered...
8:31pm 18th over: Now, don't be shocked... take a deep breath... but... there is no bowling change this over. Still Harbhajan.
Still boundaries for the batsmen too - Bravo clipping that one away for four more runs as the Windies near their victory target.
Bravo's in a heap - he had to hustle to make that run and fell over Dhoni who was trying to complete the run out. Everyone back on their feet - no-one hurt, thank goodness.
Quite the opposite in fact, as Harbhajan is left clutching his face in horror as four more runs are carted from his bowling. Followed by another four - Chanderpaul suddenly finding his range.
8:24pm 17th over: Guess what? You got it - another bowling change... Ishant Sharma on now at the Nursery End.
Excellent bit of fielding by Rania who dives full length to stop a four and, whilst still sliding, tosses the ball directly to a team mate to throw back to the stumps - well played.
There's no stopping that one though - Rohit Sharma stands right on the rope and leaps for all he's worth... but it sails over him. Six.
Two more runs for Dwayne Bravo makes it a half-century for him. What a match he's having - four wickets and now a 50? Great cricket.
And another four, this to Chanderpaul, makes this the most expensive over of the match - costing 16 runs. Ouch, that will look ugly on Sharma's bowling figures.
8:20pm 16th over: Five overs (30 balls) left - West Indies need 45 runs to win.
Yet another bowling change (I make that five in a row) - Harbhajan Singh on again. Six from the over, 39 more runs needed.
8:15pm 15th over: Another new bowler (are you keeping up?) Pragyan Ojha back at the Nursery End. A run-out chance early in the over, but Dhoni drops the ball... literally.
100 up for West Indies.
But then Simmons is gone, painfully short of his half-century.
West India 100-3 - Simmons c. Irfan b. Ojha - 44
That's one way to respond to pressure... Bravo absolutely leathers that one, back down the ground and over the rope, six!
8:09pm 14th over: Three bowling changes in a row now as Ishant Sharma returns at the Pavilion End. A double-pace attack now for India.
A single for Simmons makes this a 50-run partnership for these two batsmen. Simmons adds four more with a hook to the leg side boundary - he's nearing his own 50.
8:04pm 13th over: Another double-bowling change, Zaheer Khan returns to the India attack this time.
Simmons hits that one "through" Irfan Pathan and it runs... and runs... for four. Apologetic looks from the fielder.
8:01pm 12th over: The maiden-man, Harbhajan Singh is back - bowling from the Pavilion End. Two runs from the first ball mean this won't be another flawless over.
Indeed - far from flawless and Bravo powers that one away for four - great shot into the off side.
7:56pm 11th over: West Indies 61-2 at halfway; India were 54-3... advantage Windies you'd have to say - though it does seem they've laboured to reach this point the scoring has been far from electric.
Yuvraj really boosted the India innings towards the end - can the West Indies match that?
Great shot from Simmons shows he has the shots to match it - he steps out and swings inside-out to play that one away for four.
7:55pm 10th over: Bravo is picking up the pace nicely for the West Indies, a delicate edge to guide that one wide of Dhoni behind the stumps and all the way for four.
7:51pm 9th over: More chopping and changing of bowlers, as India keep the Windies on their toes: Pragyan Ojha on at the Nursery End.
Bravo plays a great drive for four to bring up the West Indies 50 from 55 deliveries... six more than it took India to reach their 50.
7:45pm 8th over: Yusuf Pathan replaces Harbhajan - interesting given the latter bowled a maiden in his last over.
It worked though (who am I to question MS Dhoni?). Gayle's impatience finally overcomes him, he swings widly and just top edges a high catch to Zaheer.
West Indies 42-2 - Gayle - c. Zaheer b. Yusuf - 22
7:42pm 7th over: Another bowling change: it's Ishant Sharma who is the new man at the Nursery End for India.
Simmons plays a lovely cut shot, clipping it off the shoulder of the bat and it runs all the way for four runs.
7:38pm 6th over: Harbhajan Singh comes on to bowl now - at least that might stop him making mistakes in the field!
Great over from Harbhajan - a maiden (no runs scored). Those are very, very rare in Twenty20 cricket. Well bowled.
7:35pm 5th over: Gayle finds the gap again - beating two fielders, one diving on the edge of the ring, the other diving at the rope - both miss - four.
7:30pm 4th over: Dhoni tinkering with his field placings for Gayle - just two fielders in the leg side.
Disastrous fielding in the off side won't help that plan much - that one was straight at Harbhajan who somehow dived/fell over it... and it runs for four.
Almost the complete reverse field plan for Simmons - only three fielders in the off side this time.
7:25pm 3rd over: Yusuf Pathan comes on to bowl his spin from the Nursery End. Yusuf and Irfan - not to be confused with one another!
Every dot ball (no runs scored from it) being cheered to the rafters by the India supporters. Simmons gets a good hit on that one though - over the fielders and away for four.
7:20pm 2nd over: Irfan Pathan the opening bowler from the Pavilion End - his first ball is a wide. Let's hope this doesn't "go a bit Tanveer" - if you missed the first over of the Pakistan bowler, re-live it from our live coverage of the Pakistan v Sri Lanka match.
Fletcher's gone! Pathan's got him... he's out for a duck and Gayle just stares at him as he walks off...
West Indies 9-1 - Fletcher c. Yuvraj b. Pathan - 0
7:15pm 1st over: Zaheer Khan will open the bowling for India - Gayle and Fletcher batting for the Windies, the skipper, Gayle, on strike.
There's the first four - all power from Gayle just swinging right through the line of the ball - one bounce and four.
And four more from the last ball of the over - straight back down the ground, along the grass - smooth stroke-play from Gayle.
7:06pm Dwayne Bravo ends with the best bowling figures: 4-38, including that brace of wickets in the closing over. What an exciting match already!
West Indies run-chase here, live in just a few minutes! Go and grab a cup of tea and a toilet break now, whilst you have the chance - you won't want to miss a second of this!
Send us your emails - where are you following the match from - we'd love to give you a mention. London or Trinidad, Chennai to Colchester - we'd love to hear from you.
India close on 153-7
6:59pm 20th over: Dwayne Bravo will bowl the last over of India's innings. India start it with the score on 140-5...
And first ball are 140-6 - Yusuf's gone, bowled by an excellent yorker-length delivery.
India 140-6 - Yusuf - b. Bravo - 31
Another one down! Pathan goes for a big hit but Simmons takes the catch well inside the boundary.
India 141-7 - Pathan c. Simmons b. Bravo - 2
Harbhajan dinks that one away for four... and follows it up with another off the next ball. Great tail-end batting from the spinner.
Last ball and Harbhajan's got a touch of the "Yuvrajs" as he leans into that one, dragging into the on-side for another four! A great end to the innings for India.
6:55pm 19th over: Yusuf takes over the mantle of leading batsman and plays a powerful shot there for four.
6:49pm 18th over: The West Indies call on Fidel Edwards. Fight fire with fire is the plan I guess... Edwards' pace versus Yuvraj's power... ding-ding, round one...
Knock-out blow by Edwards! Yuvraj frustrated by a few balls - goes for the big hit but it just goes directly upwards... Edwards takes the catch himself.
India 130-5 - Yuvraj - c&b Edwards - 67
Generous applause all around the ground for Yuvraj - that was a thrilling innings.
6:44pm 17th over: Jerome Taylor on to bowl for the West Indies now, from the Pavilion End - with Yuvraj in full-flight...
...the full repetoire coming out now - Yuvraj steps around that one and just gently guides it away off the face of the bat for four.
There's the hook shot - four more - 28 runs from the last 10 balls he's faced. This is stellar stuff from Yuvraj...
... and it gets better! A six this time and the India fans are in raptures! He absolutely middled it but all wristy power to pick it up off his toes - brilliant.
6:40pm 16th over: There's four more runs early in the 16th over which brings up the 100 for India from 96 deliveries. India really stepping on the accelerator now.
Fifty now for Yuvraj, brought up with a beautiful shot for four, he stepped into it and just freed his arms up to power it to the boundary - one bounce.
6:36pm 15th over: Four more early in the fifteenth over and suddenly the India-fan-volume creeps back up again.
Another four - a neat little edge from Yusuf just letting the ball kiss the bat before running to the rope for four.
And that's a big six! Yusuf realy getting under that one - landing it just wide of the team dug-outs!
6:32pm 14th over: Yusuf back on his feet, he seems to be ok.
Great over from Benn. He gives up one wide and a single (misfield from his skipper) but really nailing down the batsmen...
Until Yuvraj loses patience and just batters that one all the way for six! The first of the innings - India fans on their feet!
6:24pm 13th over: Another double bowling change - as Dwayne Bravo returns in place of Gayle.
First ball and the change works! Bravo's got another one - Dhoni fancied the pace, swung but just played it to Fletcher stood on the boundary.
India 66-4 - Dhoni c. Fletcher b. Bravo - 11

If you listen closely - you can hear Colin Croft cheering... Colin Croft, cock-a-hoop just a few seats away from me here in the Invesetec Media Centre.
Yuvraj does his best to re-energise the India fans in the crowd with that four... and then gifts a very catchable chance to Fletcher... but it's dropped! Yusuf has hurt himself diving to avoid being run-out, he's clutching his shoulder...
Credit to Fletcher, he didn't dwell on his missed chance - it was his throw that had Yusuf diving to make his ground and over-stretching his right-shoulder by the looks of things. Physio on the field.
6:21pm 12th over: Sulieman Benn replaces Pollard at the Nursery End. At 6'6" you might expect a bit of thundering pace from this chap - not a bit of it. Delicate left-arm spin is his craft.
Another boundary-less over as the West Indies shut the India batting down. 36 balls since the last boundary.
6:18pm 11th over: Yuvraj trying to swing the bat a bit but always just finding fielders. Chris Gayle gives off the air of a man in complete control. Great news for the Windies.
6:14pm 10th over: Great over from Pollard - just four runs from it and deliveries which left Yuvraj playing and missing. Four an over isn't going to cut much mustard for India.
6:12pm 9th over: Former West Indies great, Colin Croft, sat up here in the Investec Media Centre gets very excited as Gayle nips one past Dhoni - but nothing doing for a catching chance.
50 up for India from 49 balls.
6:09pm 8th over: Kieron Pollard is the second bowling change, replacing Edwards at the Nursery End.
6:06pm 7th over: First bowling change and captain, Chris Gayle brings himself on to bowl at the Pavilion End.
6:01pm 6th over: Edwards is firing it down at 90mph now, that last one went clean through Yuvraj. Nerve-jangling times for the India fans.
Yuvraj gave himself a lot of room with that one and smacks Edwards back down the ground for four. When he shuffled so far back then I almost expect the bails to fly...
5:56pm 5th over: Dwayne Bravo comes on to bowl at the Pavilion End.
Gambhir's right under that one - its up... up... Simmons turns and runs as fast as he can go, chasing that one... and takes a brilliant diving catch!
India 29-3 - Gambhir c. Simmons b. Bravo - 14
Let's have your emails now India fans! Bazza, are you still with us?
Send us your emails - how bad is this for your team? With Dhoni and Yuvraj at the crease you must still be confident - but three wickets down in the fifth over?
5:48pm 4th over: Edged and gone...? The Windes are celebrating but Raina's standing his ground...
Ramdin took the "catch" very close the deck but Raina's clearly unconvinced... but TV replays say "OUT" and he has to go.
India 27-2 - Raina c. Ramdin b. Edwards - 5
India are two-thirds of the way towards the "unrecoverable" point of losing three wickets in the first six overs - as set out by Shane Warne.
5:43pm 3rd over: Gambhir's getting into his stride, now - two successive fours send his score into double-figures with Windies fielders left sprawling.
5:39pm 2nd over: Fidel Edwards will bowl from the Nursery End. First ball of the over and Sharma pivots to hook it away for four runs.
Next ball and Sharma's gone! Simmons takes the catch and Edwards punches the air!
India 12-1 - Sharma c. Simmons b. Edwards - 5
Sharma was India's leading run-scorer in the tournament before this match - that's a big-wicket for the West Indies to get, in just the second over.
5:32pm 1st over: Jerome Taylor opens the Windies bowling, from the Pavilion End.
Gambhir gets the first runs of the match - a smooth, wristy four clipped off his hips. Six from the over, both batsmen off the mark.
Last ball and Taylor has it rearing up at Gambhir - who cannot get out of the way! He edges it just over the slips. They run two.
5:28pm Everyone standing respectfully for the anthems - we're moments away from the start of the match. Remember to keep sending us your emails (our address is just above this entry).
Goodness me there are a lot of India fans at Lord's today - the Ground is almost full to the brim and at a guess well over half are flag-waving, shirt-wearing India fans.
5:26pm Four minutes left... the Ground falls eerily silent, awaiting the teams expectantly.
5:24pm Finally, the confirmed India team news (despite ICC delays in handing them out!) Team news India are unchanged from victory over Ireland: Gambhir, R Sharma, I Sharma, Raina, Yuvraj, Dhoni, Y Pathan, I Pathan, Singh, Zaheer and Ojha.
5:20pm Just a taste of what it's like to watch cricket with a ground-full of India fans - Zaheer Khan is marking out his run-up and even that is greeted with wild cheers from the massed India supporters!
5:12pm Toss news India win the toss... which way with Dhoni go, bat or bowl? He's opted to bat first - not surprising given Sri Lanka's success with that tactic which they'll no doubt have just watched.
Chris Gayle is, arguably, the coolest man in cricket - but those big, yellow-framed sunglasses Chris? Not a good look...
Team news West Indies captain Gayle is back. Their team: Gayle; Fletcher; Sarwan; Simmons; Chanderpaul; Bravo; Ramdin; Pollard; Taylor; Benn and Edwards.
5:10pm Your emails - Bazza's back on the email: "COME ON INDIA!!!" he says, albeit with a few more exclamation marks which we edited out.
Any more nervous India fans out there? Lets here from you. And how about our friends in (or from) the Caribbean? Let's hear from you too!
5:06pm Personally I'm looking forward to seeing Chris Gayle in action. He was "rested" for the Windies warm-up defeat here to England and from their loss to Sri Lanka at The Oval - but they'd already qualified by then.
Gayle seems to turn it on when it matters (witness his six 6s in his 88 against Australia) and after his comments about not being "that sad" if Test cricket died in favour of the shorter format - he's got a lot of money to put where his mouth is...
4:59pm Well, that was a breathless few hours of cricket. Sri Lanka beat Pakistan by 19 runs, which will have cheered most of the India fans here at Lord's no end.
Now the holders face West Indies, live at Lord's.
