Stuart Broad says scoring his first Test Match century at Lord’s was a dream come true and believes he can be a regular centurion in the future.
The 24-year-old shared a record-breaking 244-run unbeaten partnership with Jonathan Trott which rescued England after Mohammad Amir had torn through their top order in the morning session.
Broad finished unbeaten on 125 and spoke of his delight at reaching the Honours Board at the Home of Cricket.

"I always dreamed I would get to the century with an extra cover drive but luckily it was on my legs and I took advantage of it.
"It's one of those days that will live long in the memory and hopefully I can build on that for tomorrow and the future."
Broad had made five Test half centuries prior to the innings but this was his first since he made 61 in a losing cause against Australia at Headingley last summer.
After a promising beginning to his career, Broad’s had struggled to make an impact with his batting in the last 12 months with Graeme Swann replacing the left-hander as England’s number 8.
His confidence was restored by an attacking 48 in the last Test at The Oval however, and Broad is sure that having reached his first century, he can push himself up the batting order.

"It has given me a lot of confidence to score a Test Match hundred here today.
"It’s a question I’ve been asked countless times in my short Test career and I’ve always said 'yes' but it’s nice to get that first one.
"Hopefully I can go on from here and use it as a stepping stone and score many more."
