Cockspur Cup Final: 11th September
Date released: 4 September 2007
From the 395 entrants across England, Scotland and Wales - Bromley and Kibworth are this year's Cockspur Cup club finalists for the match on Tuesday 11th September at Lord's.
Match information
The gates at Lord's will open at 10am, with play due to start an hour later. The match is scheduled for 45 overs per side.
An audio description service will be available on the day for blind and partially sighted spectators. Headsets are available from the Head Steward's office.
For any supporters unable to visit Lord's for the final the same, live ball-by-ball commentary will be available via this website.
Bromley
Bromley have the shorter journey of the two finalists, coming to Lord's from Kent.
They won their semi-final against Cornish side, St. Just. Leo Taylor was the hero on that day, cracking a century in a six wicket victory.

Ruel Brathwaite: on Bromley's books Another Bromley star is MCC Universities student, Ruel Brathwaite. Ruel was called up by the touring West Indies side back in June, playing against England Lions at Worcester.
He also helped his University side, Loughborough, to the British Universities Sports Association Final - so his cup pedigree and showpiece final experience could come in handy.
Bromley are no strangers to Lord's though, they were here in last year's final. On that occasion they were humbled by South Northumberland by 84 runs. Undoubtedly they'll want to improve on that showing.
Kibworth
This won't be the Leicestershire side's first trip to Lord's either.
They fared slightly better when they reached the final in 2004. They beat Ockbrook & Borrowash by five wickets to take the title.
They defeated Chester-le-Street in their semi-final, despite the best efforts of the rain. They may enjoy comparing notes with Lord's Groundsman, Mick Hunt who has performed similar miraculous, match-saving heroics in adverse weather.
Opener John Hanger got a handy 29 in the 2004 final at Lord's and was clearly in a hurry to return for this year's final. He scored an impressive 54 in a partnership of 121 with Suni Patel in the semi-final.
Josh Cobb lead Kibworth's bowling figures in their semi-final win. His three wickets came at a frugal cost of just 15 runs.
Going to Barbados
Thanks to the sponsors, Cockspur, both this year's finalists will enjoy a trip to Barbados for the 30th Fred Rumsey pro-am tournament.
The teams won't be digging out their passports just yet though - the winners get a cheque for £6,000, twice as much as the runners-up who get £3,000.
That extra £3,000 could pay for quite a few more celebratory measures of rum in Barbados!
