Imran Khan becomes the first Pakistani to give the MCC Spirit of Cricket Cowdrey Lecture this evening, in the Nursery Pavilion at Lord’s.
Three days after the historic MCC Spirit of Cricket Test between Pakistan and Australia finished at Lord’s, Imran will discuss issues including 50 over cricket, a first-class IPL-style competition and, of course, the future of the Pakistani game.
Imran also discusses the challenges a full calendar poses for fast bowlers, and after the lecture he will be joined by a legion of quicks for a panel discussion chaired by Mark Nicholas.

Steve Finn will appear alongside the greats Jeff Thomson, who terrorised opposition batsmen during his 51 Tests for Australia in the 1970s and 1980s, is joined by two Englishmen who have impressed in their fledging Test careers - Graham Onions and Steve Finn.

Graham Onions joins the panel tonight Ashes winner Onions is a current Wisden Cricketer of the Year, and Finn made his debut in early 2010 in Bangladesh and took nine wickets against the same opposition at Lord’s.
The lecture will be audio streamed live here on www.lords.org from 6pm tonight, and a video of both the lecture and highlights of the panel discussion will be available on the website on Wednesday.
