The game is the first in a series of fixtures for Sri Lanka 'A' as they complete a month-long stay in England - playing against MCC, India and several county sides.
The MCC squad includes Afghan batsman Mohammed Nabi - a former MCC Young Cricketer.
Mohammed caught the Club's attention last year when he scored 116 not out in the first-ever MCC v Afghanistan fixture, in Mumbai. He was duly invited to come to become an MCC Young Cricketer for part of the 2006 season, to benefit from the guidance of MCC's Head Coach, Clive Radley (the ex-Middlesex and England batsman), and the world-class facilities at Lord's.
MCC's squad, captained by Craig McMillan, the New Zealand all-rounder, also features players from the six MCC-funded University Centres of Cricketing Excellence - now known as the MCC Universities - where bright and talented young players can combine their academic studies with top-class cricket coaching.
One of the students in the squad is Ruel Brathwaite, who recently made his international debut for the West Indies against the England Lions. In a three over spell he claimed the wicket of Owais Shah and conceded just 19 runs.
The gates to Arundel Castle will open at 9am each day, with play due to start at 11am. Tickets will cost £12 for adults and £8 for concessions, with MCC Members eligible for free entry. Parking costs £5 per day, with tickets now available through the Friends of Arundel Castle CC.
