
MCC Universities team heads to South Africa

The MCC University Centres of Cricket Excellence are sending a combined team to tour South Africa ahead of the new season and new term.

Adding to his experience: Ruel Brathwaite The tourists will fly in to Cape Town on Thursday 13th March. The trip is to increase their cricketing experience and will feature six matches against their South African counterparts - including one at the Newlands ground, home of many Test Matches.
The party includes many with first-class experience, such as Loughborough's Ruel Brathwaite who was called into the West Indies team during their tour of England last year.
Other tourists with first-class experience include: Robbie Williams (Middlesex); Paul Dixey (Kent) and Arun Harinath and Matt Spriegel (Surrey).
