Andrew Flintoff's name is added to the batting Honours Board
MCC updates Honours Boards at Lord's
Date released: 11 August 2003
MCC has updated the famous Honours Boards at Lord's, following some exceptional performances in the recent npower Test between England and South Africa.
In the home dressing room, the name of Andrew Flintoff has been added (see right) to the board which lists the England batsmen who have scored Test centuries at 'headquarters'.
In the visitors' dressing room, the names of captain Graeme Smith, century-maker Gary Kirsten and fast-bowler Makhaya Ntini have been added to the batting and bowling boards.
Makhaya Ntini became the first South Africa bowler to take ten wickets (10-220) in a Test at Lord's, while Graeme Smith's innings of 259 was the highest ever score by an overseas batsman in a Lord's Test.
