In addition to the privilege of playing at the world’s most famous cricket ground, both teams will benefit from the experience and insight of former England stars Andrew Caddick and Ronnie Irani.

The pair will be on hand as npower Ambassadors to help make the big day even more special.

Another new feature of this year’s final will be the awarding of a Man-of-the-Match trophy for the first time in the 36 years of the competition.

The award has been inaugurated to celebrate the life and contribution of the late Ben Brocklehurst, the former Somerset cricketer who founded and nurtured the competition as proprietor of The Cricketer magazine.
