Seamers set to speed in to Lord's

Finn, Gul, Amir & Broad England's four match Test series against Pakistan concludes at Lord's at the end of August.

The match looks set to feature four brilliant young pace bowlers.

Both sides feature bright young things who have been performing well with the ball.

Speedy Steve: England's Finn There may even be a fifth if Yorkshire's teenage sensation, Ajmal Shazhad, recovers sufficiently from the ankle injury which saw Tim Bresnan replace him in the squad for the first Test at Trent Bridge.

England's 21-year-old, 6'7" paceman Steve Finn made his Test debut earlier this year in Bangladesh.

Just a few months later he has etched his name on the Honours Boards at both Lord's and Old Trafford after taking five-fors in both Tests against the same opposition in England.

Young gun: Mohammad Amir At just 18, Pakistan's Mohammad Amir seems to have the cricketing world at his feet.

Amir made his debut in July last year and already has 32 Test wickets from just 10 matches.

He took 11 Australia wickets in their recent two Test MCC Spirit of Cricket series, including the prize scalp of Aussie captain Ricky Ponting - twice.

Young 'old hands'

Speed & swing: Umar Gul Amir plays alongside the talented Umar Gul. At 26 Gul is a relative veteran compared to the teenage Amir.

However, Gul's ability to generate both swing and pace make him a key part of Pakistan's impressive attack.

Gul passed the 100 Test wickets landmark in the series against Australia.

Similarly, Stuart Broad is only 24 but a 'veteran' of 28 Tests.

Broad's back: Stuart returns for England The Nottinghamshire seamer was 'rested' from the Tests against Bangladesh in favour of strength and conditioning work to ready him for this winter's Ashes.

Back in the squad Broad will no doubt be keen to show England fans what they've been missing.

The prospect of the 6'5" Broad and the even taller Finn charging in from opposite ends of the ground is enough to send a shiver through most batting line ups.
