Warne: In his bowling pomp for Australia
Australia's legendary spin bowler Shane Warne says the first Test of an Ashes Series should always be at The Home of Cricket.

Speaking to Sky Sports Warne said: "The buzz around Lord's [in 2005] was amazing. The lead-up to the Ashes series was phenomenal.

"It was one of those series that was great for the game of cricket. It really captured everyone's imagination, it captured non-cricket lovers' imaginations in England.

"That is why I reckon the first Test match should always be at Lord's. The Lord's Test match should always be number one."

Lord's will host the second Test in the Ashes Series this summer from 16-20 July.
