Cowdrey Lecture 2006 now available on VHS
In a wide-ranging and hard-hitting Cowdrey Lecture, delivered at Lord's on Tuesday 11th July, Martin Crowe - the former New Zealand batsman - put forward a number of radical ideas for safeguarding the Spirit of Cricket and improving the game.
Topics covered in his lecture included:

- Meaningless matches and player burn-out

- Two-innings cricket, even in three-hour matches
The lecture was followed by a question and answer session, chaired by Mark Nicholas with Martin Crowe, Paul Collingwood and Ramiz Raja.
