Enjoy excellent food and wine in the Tavern Bar

The relaxed yet luxurious setting of the Tavern Bar

Lord's Tavern Bar & Brasserie

For well over a century, the Lord's Tavern has provided cricket-lovers with a haven for celebration or reflection.

There has been a hostelry on the St John's Wood site since 1868 when the architect Edward Paraire, who specialised in pubs and chapels, designed a building, located within the ground, with a graceful wrought-iron balcony.

His building was controversially demolished almost a century later, when the south-west corner of Lord's was redeveloped, and the current Lord's Tavern was built (next to the Grace Gate) on St John's Wood Road in 1967.

In 2003-04, the Lord's Tavern was extensively refurbished to improve its appearance, ambience and year-round appeal; it was also re-named, and is now known as the Lord's Tavern Bar & Brasserie.

The Tavern is now stylishly relaxed venue in which to enjoy a regularly changing menu of freshly prepared dishes and an extensive wine list. Choose between the air conditioned, smoke-free interior or dine al fresco all year round on the heated terrace.

To book a table, please telephone 020 7616 8687.

For community relations reasons, the Lord's Tavern Bar & Brasserie is closed to the public on major matchdays.
