Ben Pheazey

Ben is pleased to be participating in his second season with the MCC's Ball By Ball service. After school and University Ben trained as an actor with East 15 (the drama school not the band), and spent two years in touring theatre visiting, amongst other places, Germany, Denmark and the Channel Islands. After a brief spell in TV voice-overs and a succession of horrible temporary jobs in warehouses Ben joined the National Theatre where he works in a specialist theatre bookshop. In his spare time he plays, scores and umpires for the "Touring Theatre's Cricket Club". In 2004 he produced one of the most boring innings in the club's history by batting 25 overs for 17 runs. Ben is also a keen satirist and regularly writes songs, gags and sketches for "Newsrevue"-a topical stage show on the London fringe.
