Nick Hedley

Nick still dreams of scoring a century at Lord’s but is delighted to have the opportunity of commentating instead. Maybe this was his destiny as he followed in Jonathan Agnew's shadow, captaining the same prep school 1st X1. He did then go on and play for Shropshire at Under 16 level as an all-rounder but since then his playing days have been restricted to pub sides. To keep his wife and children in the style that they are accustomed he headhunts lawyers, having originally been a lawyer himself.
