Are you a keen cricket fan with a web-based skill set?
Main Tasks
Maintain the new MCC Members’ portal
• Monitor the forums
• Monitor user feedback forms & redirect/reply as required
• Deal with new user problems on the phone
Publish new content on the Members’ portal website
• Write and/or edit new content
• Edit and publish new images using the Members’ portal Sharepoint software and Adobe PhotoShop
Assist with Lords.org
• Write and/or edit new content
• Edit and publish new images using the Lords.org content management software and Adobe PhotoShop
• Cover for Website Co-ordinator one day per week and holidays/sickness
• Form part of the ‘live’ online commentary and photo team on major match days
• Assist with ShopatLords.com & http://tickets.lords.org (or subsequent shop and ticket websites)
• Assist with MCC intranet
Required skills & experience
Experience of websites and website editing
Experience with Microsoft Sharepoint
Adobe PhotoShop
Strong written and spoken English
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite: Word; Excel; PowerPoint etc.
Knowledge of cricket
Desired skills
Experience of the application of a house style
Knowledge of HTML, XML & CSS
Experience of Adobe Flash
Accuracy and attention to detail
Experience of moderating online forums/message boards
Appreciation of online marketing/sales techniques
Proven creativity either written, visual or both
