The MCC Indoor School at Lord's hosts a range of coaching classes for young cricketers. The on-site Lord's Shop is on hand to help kit your kids out with all they need to start playing.

Bats

Did you know there are over seven bat sizes to choose from?

Sizes range from: 0-6, Harrow, Academy up to a full-sized bat. Requirements will vary depending on the batter's height.

The experts in the Lord's Shop can help you pick out a correctly sized bat to suit your child and your budget. Prices start from just £20.

Helmets & pads

ECB playing directives state that: "A young player (up to the age 18) should not be allowed to bat, or stand up to the stumps when keeping wicket, without a helmet (with faceguard) against a hard ball."

Lord's shop staff can help you find the right padding to play cricket too; from boxes to batting pads.
