How to apply via the ballot

The Public Ticket Ballot for all Major Matches will be available online from 4 January 2012 until 31 January The 2012 Public Ticket Ballot for all Major Matches will be available online from 4 January 2012 and will close on 31 January. This year you can apply via our new ticket website, tickets.lords.org.
There are two methods available depending on your previous ticket application status with MCC:
1) The first method is available for those who have previously supplied MCC with an e-mail address. Such applicants should by now have received an e-mail containing a password to sign into the website.
2) The second method is for those for whom MCC has not been notified of an e-mail address. These applicants should sign in by entering your Client Reference number, which you should have received in the post, printed on the application form, together with your surname and postcode.
To do this, simply alter the drop-down box, from “E-mail & Password” to “Client Ref. and Postcode”, on the homepage. Once you have signed in, by entering your details, you will be asked for your e-mail address.

A day/night game at Lord's Having signed into the website, by one of the two methods above, you should then click the “Ballots” tab, select the 2012 General Public Ballot and apply for tickets.
Applicants may amend their online ballot application at any time up until midnight on the closing date of 31st January 2012; full details of how to do this can be found in the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) section.
Shortly after the ballot has been conducted, applicants will receive an e-mail advising them of the tickets which they have been allocated, and at this point your debit or credit card will be charged.
