Former Pakistan captain Misbah Ul-Haq features in a star-studded MCC line-up for the historic fixture against Afghanistan on Tuesday 11 July at Lord’s.
The batsman join a list of legends that are due to play in the match including former Sri Lanka captain Kumar Sangakkara and ex-West Indies batsman Shivnarine Chanderpaul.
The fixture will give spectators one of the last chances to see Misbah in action following his retirement from international duty with Pakistan - finishing with a flourish by leading his nation to their first ever series win against the West Indies last month.
Captained by former New Zealand batsman Brendon McCullum, MCC will face an Afghanistan side appearing at the Home of Cricket for the very first time in their history in a 50-over match.
The tourists' side will feature IPL stars Mohammad Nabi and teenage leg-spinner Rashid Khan, who took 17 wickets in his debut campaign this year.
MCC’s side also contains England all-rounder Samit Patel and former England wicketkeeper Chris Read with Ireland pair Tim Murtagh and George Dockrell, Surrey bowler Stuart Meaker and Durham seamer Chris Rushworth completing the line-up.
Tickets are now on sale for the match with prices set at £20 for Adults, £10 for Over-65s and £5 for Under 16s.
