On the evening of Wednesday 5th February the President will launch the Bicentenary celebrations in the Long Room and Museum.
In the Museum, Members and guests will have an opportunity to view, for the first time, an interactive 3D digital model charting the evolution of the Ground – from the semi-rural landscape on the outskirts of an expanding London – bought by Thomas Lord.
Outside, a “200” sculpture formed of images submitted of and by Members, players, spectators and staff will be unveiled, and inside the Pavilion guests can help choose the Bicentenary Ale.
Further to the activities on the night, those attending will have the chance to buy tickets for matches and special Bicentenary merchandise, and register their interest for events taking place later in the year.
