As part of the build up to July's Lord's Test against Pakistan, the MCC Museum is displaying an exhibition on cricket in the country.
The exhibition, called Wounded Tiger, a History of Pakistan Cricket, displays some rare books, objects and images.
Amongst the exhibition highlights are original black and white photographs of past players and matches, the blazer worn by Javed Miandad during the first Cricket World Cup in 1975, and a selection of correspondence from the MCC tour to Pakistan in 1955-6.
Other materials on display includes equipment from various teams, original documents from the MCC archive, and blazers from the previously mentioned MCC touring team.
Topics explored include the early history of cricket in Pakistan, the rivalry between Lahore and Karachi, and the age-old struggle between India and Pakistan.
The MCC Library, in which much research for these books and for the exhibition was carried out, is open to all by appointment.
