Meet The Team

Andrew Whillas

Lord's Tavern Manager

Born in Australia and a self-confessed cricket fanatic. Andrew first worked at Lord's in 2001, managing the Members' Bar within the Pavilion for four consecutive seasons.

After some extensive travel and a spell back Down Under, Andrew returned to the UK, working on the 2012 Olympics and 2015 Rugby World Cup before the opportunity to return to Home of Cricket proved too hard to resist.

Alexandria Donald

Assistant Manager

Alex has been at Lord's Tavern for two of her fantastic and enjoyable eight years at Marylebone Cricket Club.

No two days are the same at Lord's, with such a vastly different type of customer walking through the doors every single day. When the cricket is on, the atmosphere is electric and those days are incredible to work; fast paced, challenging and fun.

Sherif Hassan

Head Chef

London born and raised, Sherif worked at Lord’s before spreading his wings and gaining experience in three Michelin Starred Restaurants around the UK.

Trained in a number of cuisines, Sherif is particularly passionate about Fish & Seafood with his parents owning a fish market.

Sherif is already putting his own stamp on the menu and is excited about taking the quality of the food in the Lord’s Tavern to the next level in 2017.
