MCC Magazine is published twice yearly, in April and October, by MCC's Arts & Library department. The magazine takes a broad view of the history and culture of cricket and includes regular features on developments within the Club's historic collections.
Since its first issue in April 2010 it has contained articles on subjects as diverse as the connections between cricket and baseball, the history of cricket songs, and the story of the man who ran the catering at Lord's for 48 years. Past contributors have included historian Tom Holland, former West Indies Test fast bowler Michael Holding and leading sports writer Harry Pearson.
April 2018 sees the publication of Issue 17 of MCC Magazine, which includes the following articles:
- Mark Peel on the ambassadorial role of MCC’s overseas tours
- Prashant Kidambi on the Palwankar brothers and the 1911 All-India tour of the UK
- Robert Curphey on the Butterflies Cricket Club’s post-war tours of Germany
- Neil Robinson on MCC tours and the rise of cricket in Sweden
The MCC Magazine is distributed free to MCC Members.
